The pegs on the rack all were not strong and some did not screw exactly right in the holes. I had to glue them so they would be strong enough to hold heavier items. -- coat rack
Not just for kids. Excellent for someone in a wheelchair. Love this item! I do not have children in the house, so if you want it for a kid's room consider that the base, while sturdy is not weighted, so must keep pegs on each side balanced when hanging heavier items like coats, so it won't tip. -- Shirley
As others have indicated, I had the same problem with the pegs on this coat tree, loose, no, droopy would be a better description. Wouldn't hold any weight right out of the box. However, a little wood glue on each peg before screwing them in, let it dry and it's good and solid. As long as you know that going in it's a decent little coat rack for a toddler or kid. just the right size. -- ok after peg adjustment
